My name is Jeppe Hebsgaard Arbjerg, and I am the person behind ÅÅGE by Arbjerg Nordic.

When you shop here, you are not dealing with a faceless machine or a large, impersonal corporation. You are dealing with a man whose professional life is built on uncompromising craftsmanship, aesthetics, and a sense for the genuine article.

Trained Sign Painter with Gold Leaf and Journeyman’s Certificate

My foundation is rooted in my trade as a trained sign painter with a journeyman’s certificate.

It is a trade that requires rare precision and a deep understanding of classic virtues such as hand-painting, genuine gold leaf, and uncompromising aesthetics. Very few places today teach the mastery of these old, noble techniques, but for me, it has always been about honoring fine craftsmanship.

Today, I work as a project manager and client advisor at Reklameland. This gives me a professional, in-depth interface with production and a special knowledge of old, proud production techniques such as enamel, screen printing, and gilding.

This professional ballast and sharp eye for quality mean that nothing hits the ÅÅGE shop without having passed my personal quality filter.

The constant in Randers
I was born in 1981 and have my base in Randers.
Privately, I am married to my wife, Maria Arbjerg, and together we have three boys and two dogs who ensure that our daily life is full of life and joy.

For me, family life, groundedness, and aesthetic design are inextricably linked.

Vacations are spent with my family, preferably on the Danish west coast with the west wind in our hair, or in the northern Kattegat on the Hirsholmene islands, where the family has a historical connection through a grandfather and father who worked as lighthouse keepers, and where many Danish summers have been spent.
